Objective
I need a place where I can post all my knitting and crochet musings.
Solution
I used Wordpress to create a blog in both English and Spanish. It also boasts a project gallery using the Ravelry API and SmoothGallery, and a custom theme.
Results
I can now write as much as I want about yarn, and leave this site for more professional endeavors.

Objective
Josephine Bustamante needed a website to go with her new photography business. She needed to be able to upload pictures and change content as needed.
Solution
Using Textpattern, a simple to use content management system, Josephine can now change all content of her site, including text and images.
Results
She can expand her portfolio as her business grows, add testimonials, and update her blog as she pleases.

Variant Press

Objective
Variant Press specializes in publishing computer books. Now that the number of titles under its belt is growing, they needed a site where they could sell their products. It needed to looked professional, and be easy to update.
Solution
Using Textpattern, a simple to use content management system, Variant Press now has a site that is easy to update.
Results
For now, they are using Paypal buttons, but a shopping cart will be implemented in the near future.

Digital Learning

Objective
Digital Learning is a consulting company that specializes in providing on line learning materials. They needed a new corporate image to set them apart from the competition, and give them a more professional look.
Solution
I created a new logo and stationary. Since they are technically savvy, I provided a Dreamweaver template they could use to update their website on their own.
Results
They now have a cohesive corporate image. At the time of this posting, the website is still under construction.

Resa

Objective
Mexican artist Adriana Reyes needed a site to promote her work. She wanted the option to add more pictures to her gallery as needed.
Solution
Using her own art as part of the design, and Coppermine Gallery as the backend, she now has a bilingual (English/Spanish) easy to update gallery.
Results
Through her website, Adriana has received invitations to show her work at exhibits in the US.

Dr. Judith Reisman

Objective
Dr. Reisman is a well known researcher who required a site to highlight her work and post her latest writings.
Solution
The site was redesigned to give it a cleaner look, more organized look. MovableType was implemented to allow easier maintenance. Paypal was used to create a simple shopping cart and ordering system.
Result
Through the use of a Content Management System she can upadate the site herself. The site now offers readers the opportunity to search the site and buy certain books and white papers.

Scruples

Objective
High Game Enterprises needed a website for Scruples, The Game of Moral Dilemmas. Most of their business is done through wholesale distributors, but they needed a place where they could offer the game retail.
Solution
The site was redesigned to look fresher and more fun. An easy to update “Question of the Month” feature done in Flash makes the site feel current. Paypal was used to add the capability to sell the game online.
Results
People who can’t find the game in their local stores can now buy the game directly from the manufacturer.
