A flash animation that teaches how Mayan base 20 math worked, and how they represented numbers. It allows you to create your own numbers, or to see how a particular number would be represented.

Ms. Ramirez,
Your work is terrific!! I’ve enjoyed playing your cryptogram and have sent the link to your concentration game to my grandchildren for them to enjoy.
If you would permit me one suggestion, it pertains to your Mayan Math section. At about the third page into the introduction, there’s a table with the left-most column containing powers of 20. An exponent of a number represents how many times it is to be multiplied by itself, so 20 to the 4th power is 20×20x20×20, or 160,000; 20 cubed is 20×20x20 or 8000; 20 squared is 20×20 or 400; 20 to the first power is 20; any number, including 20, to the zero power is 1. I hope you will not think me offensive for pointing this out – I mean no offense. It’s just that your work is so excellent, I wanted to offer you a small suggestion for making it a little better.
Thank you
Mr. Campbell,
You are totally correct. I have my exponent’s wrong. I should have started from 0, instead of 1. I’ll correct that as soon as possible.
Thanks for letting me know.
