A bilingual flash game of one of my favorite word puzzles, Crytogram (also known as Cryptoquote). I searched the net for it, and since I didn’t find one I liked I made my own. Not too many phrases on each language, but I’ll keep adding more. Hope you enjoy it. Let me know if you find any bugs.

The phrase attributed to Salvador Dali is a phrase from Gérard de Nerval (1808-1855) (“Le premier qui compara la femme à une rose était un poète, le second un imbécile.”). If Dali ever used it, it is impossible he didn’t knew of its origins, because it is a very known sentence in French culture, culture that Dali knew more than well.

I like it. Nice and simple… and very addictive, for someone like me who likes these games.
I have a couple of suggestions:
* An easy way to clear a character from the keyboard – I kept wanting to hit delete or spacebar in order to do so.
* I think it would be very helpful if, upon selecting a symbol, all symbols of that type were highlighted instead of just the one.
Of course these are just my thoughts, and you may feel otherwise, or simply feel it’s not worth the time. I like to drop a little constructive criticism along with compliments, though, so don’t take this to mean I didn’t like it! I did, and I suspect I’ll be back often.
It would be better if the puzzles were spelt correctly.

Enjoyable…different and much appreciated and needed. Thank you for your efforts. Making something like these “different” is not the easiest thing in the world. You’ve succeeded admirably.
One of my favorite crypto puzzles. I’m more familiar with the ones where the cipher is in the same alphabet, but this is a really nice change. The only thing that would make it better is some sort of clock to time how long it takes for each puzzle.
I think one of your Lincoln quotes has a typo. The saying should be “ You can fool some of the people ALL of the time….” I think you have “some” twice instead of once.
